Weather/Climate

How weather and climate affect the Marine Biome?

The ocean gets warmer when you get closer to the equator and it gets colder when you get closer to the poles, and the closer it is to the poles, the less animal life you have.

Affects in the Marine biome

Greenhouse effect: They affect the oceans by causing sea levles to rise. which causes floods, and people to move froom their location.

.

Acid rain: The water becomes filled with acid and can possibly kill the animal and plant life..

biological magnification: The toxin wont be able to break down then it will eventually travel up the food chain and many animals will become contaminated.

.

Ozone destruction: this cause less oceanin CO2 intake because the ozone depletion increases the strength of certain winds near the surface, which drive up carbon rich water from below the surface. This increases the amount of carbon near the surface, and so decreases the amount that can be absorbed from the atmosphere
