Food Web/Pyramid
In this food web the PRODUCERS are the diatoms, the PRIMARY CONSUMER is a krill, the SECONDARY CONSUMER is the fish, the TERTIARY CONSUMER is the killer whale, and the DECOMPOSER is the tiny water animals.
In an aquatic habitat the pyramid of biomass is inverted or spindle shaped where the biomass of trophic level depends upon the reproductive potential and longivity of the member.
